Just Launched

Check out these newly launched websites developed and designed by emedia:

New Website Reflects Our Fresh Approach

Our newly redesigned website, www.emedia.bm, has just been launched. The new site reflects our fresh approach to marketing, web development, and public relations and provides some great new features for our clients. In addition to providing information about emedia and our staff, we have also included a client entry where clients who wish to have a record of their advertising online can go to keep track of when and where their ads are being circulated.

The new site shows off the skills of new Website Development Manager, Bridget Figur with its use of PHP and a MySQL database. Other new additions to the site include the ability to request a quote for services and a resource page designed to demystify terms and processes that our clients may be unfamiliar with like CMYK or Flash. Our homepage displays featured projects, exhibiting new and interesting jobs that have recently been completed, and our online portfolio has been enhanced to show a greater variety of what we can do.

emedia continues to grow in its services and abilities, and the rebuilt website helps to highlight the success we’ve already have and where we can take our clients in the future.

Employee Profile: Bridget Figur- Website Development Manager

Bridget is one of the newest additions to emedia, having joined the team in April of 2008. Bridget is responsible for overseeing the production of every website project at emedia, as well as managing clients’ needs and determining the best development solutions for each project.

Her experience as a freelance website developer and as a software developer at a New York Hedge Fund company has given her a very well-rounded skill set suitable for any project, large or small. Bridget is responsible for the development of the new website for the Bermuda International Business Association (www.biba.org). The project included a Flash intro page and Flash navigation, numerous database-driven areas built using ASP.NET and the ability for the client to maintain all site content using both Adobe Contribute and a custom built administration area. She also developed the recently rebuilt emedia site (www.emedia.bm), which has an enhanced portfolio section built using PHP and a MySQL database.

Having studied studio art, Bridget has an eye for design, which helps her work very cohesively with the design team and understand the “big picture” of building a website.

emedia’s Evolution Continues with the Addition of Public Relations

emedia is expanding its already extensive list of services to include public relations. This addition makes emedia the island’s only full service agency, capable of supplying advertising, marketing, website development, and now public relations services all in-house.

About this new venture, Managing Director Jennifer Ward said, “I am excited that we can expand the great relationships we have with our clients and introduce new clients to what emedia can do for them.”

The new public relations services will include media relations, event management and planning, crisis management, press launches, internal communications and media tracking as well as the necessary research to make sure that clients’ PR tactics will reach the right markets. Current projects that emedia is already managing include the launch of the new kitchen and two new restaurants, Ocean Echo and Royston’s, for The Reefs as well as Universal Electric’s new business promotion aboard the Spirit of Bermuda.
