Bermuda advertising agency emedia is expanding by hiring a full-time public relations and sales manager. Carrie Portnoy is joining the team to help the firm get more exposure for their current clients and attract new ones.
Ms Portnoy's background in public relations includes working in the competitive entertainment industry in Los Angeles and Bermuda.
She is also experienced in areas such as advertising and real estate.
She said: "I am very excited to be part of such an established and well respected local agency. The possibilities and opportunities are endless.
"I know I can contribute and expand on emedia's already fresh approach to public relations and event planning."
emedia has been a leading advertising firm in Bermuda for 10 years.
Jennifer Ward, the firm's founder and managing director, said: "On a small island, name recognition is key and public relations is one the best avenues to get that name out there.
"We are ecstatic to have a dedicated employee to help garner the necessary exposure needed to better brand our current clients as well as bring on board new clients."
emedia's public relations services include strategy and branding, media relations, crisis management, event planning, start-up or company launches, product launches, press releases, speeches and article drafting.
The firm also offers assistance with marketing and web design and development.
emedia is available for companies either on retainer or on a case by case basis depending on what is necessary to help increase the firm's exposure.
