Our Approach

“On-island and in-house” is emedia’s mantra when it comes to how we accomplish client projects. Even if your company’s business plan involves print advertising, radio advertising, website development and design, company branding, event planning and management and copywriting, emedia has staff on-site designated for each of these projects. Our three categories of operation: marketing, websites and public relations are so interrelated that having specialists in each on-site became a natural solution to tackling the inconsistency and conflicting messages that arise when outsourcing to multiple teams.

This in-house approach benefits our clients by allowing all participants in their projects to work cohesively and with a level of communication that cannot otherwise be found. It creates an environment for problem solving where all angles are covered. When building a website, for example, our graphic designer, web developer, copywriter and project manager work cooperatively, so every piece of the puzzle fits together perfectly and the best solutions are found for each client.

emedia’s team has been carefully assembled to include a wide variety of skill sets while maintaining focus on its clients’ core needs. “Assembling the best team possible has always been my goal,” says CEO and Strategic Director, Jennifer Ward. “No team member has only one area of expertise. Website Developers who have an eye for design, Account Managers who have a background in writing, this is what makes emedia the unique and successful entity that it is.”

That being said, when occasions do arise that require us to enlist outside help (most commonly for photography or radio production), we work with a team of local professionals with whom we have built strong relationships and in whose quality and professionalism we know we can trust.
