Reefs Launch A Time for Nostalgia and New Beginnings

emedia recently had the honor of coordinating the launch of two new restaurants at The Reefs, Royston’s and Ocean Echo. The celebration, which took place on August 11th, was a time for reflecting on family and for looking to the future of The Reefs. Royston’s, which is named after The Reefs’ owner David Dodwell’s father, has the feel of a supper club and reflects the personal style of its namesake. A plaque indicates the restaurant’s dedication to Mr. Dodwell’s parents. Ocean Echo, meanwhile, has a distinctly Bermudian feel featuring cedar beams and the blue-green tones of the ocean.

The restaurant launch featured a tasting from both menus and highlighted the new state-of-the- art display kitchen that will service both restaurants. emedia staff were happy to be a part of this occasion, creating the invitations and display materials, as well as scheduling and coordinating the evening’s events from photography to ribbon cutting by Mr. Dodwell’s five children.

We see this night as a beginning for both companies: the opening of two great new restaurants at The Reefs and the launch of the public relations and event planning and management arm of emedia. We are looking forward to the continued success of both.
